Our Principal Celebrant is Archbishop Ronald Langham DD, JP an Ecumenical Catholic° Bishop who understands the importance of ceremonies and the role they play in our lives. Archbishop Ron understands that not everyone fits into the mould demanded by many churches or contemporary society. He believes that every person should have the opportunity to celebrate important events in a way that suits them and, legal requirements and common decency withstanding, people have a right to celebrate in ways that are meaningful to them.

For this reason, Archbishop Ron established “Distinctive Ceremonies”. With Distinctive Ceremonies you will have total control over your particular service. Weddings, Christenings, Funerals, whatever your need, Distinctive Ceremonies will work closely with you to make sure your event is both special and memorable.

Distinctive Ceremonies does not discriminate on the basis of religious belief, nationality, gender or orientation. Our services are available to all people and we hope we can be of service to you at your special event.

In his 'day-job' Archbishop Ron is the founder and CEO of Ecumenical Christian Welfare, a registered charity that provides accommodation and support to homeless people in the western suburbs of Sydney. Archbishop Ron holds an Honorary Doctorate in Divinity, a Bachelor of Divinity, an Advanced Diploma in Business Management, a Diploma in Health Counselling, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, as well as qualifications in Nursing and Welfare.
