For reasons both legal and otherwise, some people wish to enter into non-legal, but emotionally binding relationships. Distinctive Ceremonies is happy to assist these couples in celebrating their love, even if it is not recognised by law. This includes same-gender couples. The purpose of such a Ceremony is to make a public declaration of life-long commitment, love, and dedication between two people. The occasion can be shared with family and friends or the ceremony can be held in private without guests. Civil or Religious ceremonies are available and we work with you to make your day special, just as it should be.

 

Every Commitment Ceremony is unique. Working within the Ceremony framework, couples create their own unique celebration by selecting words, poems and readings that hold a special meaning for them. The venue, number of guests and involvement of other guests are also chosen by the couple, creating, in all, a very meaningful and personal experience.
